How to Succeed in Research by Writing Killer Grants

The Grant Preparation Program takes a step back in the grant writing process to prepare researchers before writing begins. The program runs from May to October, involving a combination of facilitated events and unstructured breakout sessions. Participants will have opportunities for networking and skill development that will lead to a strong grant proposal.

In partnership with the Centre for Ethical Leadership, WiSPP pilots the Inclusive Leadership Training program.

The program will equip teams in medical research institutes with higher levels of awareness, connection and commitment to inclusion which will allow them to work more effectively in the future.

The Regional Girls Innovation Challenge is a collaborative effort between WiSPP, BrainSTEM, and STEM Sisters.

It was created in response to the limited number of female role models in STEM across regional Victoria. The program partners a WiSPP institute mentor with thirteen teams from nine high schools in Gippsland. The goal is to transform the future of innovation and science by inspiring young women to become the next generation of scientists.
