A workshop With Dr Clare Fedele (@DrClareFedele)

Learn how to share your work with general audiences through social media and story-telling.

Public visibility of diverse people doing science in diverse ways will challenge societies assumptions about scientists and ways of doing science. Sharing your work with general audiences on social media can both help shape your career and reshape notions of what a “real” scientist looks like.

Dr Clare Fedele is a cancer researcher and science communicator at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) and is an alumni of the inaugural Superstars of Stem Program.

In this workshop Clare will share her extensive experience and knowledge to help you built a deeper understanding of the power of social media and learn skills, tools and techniques to strategically use social media, in particular Twitter, for career progression.
